The Dental pod delivers a comprehensive, convenient and effective way to clean oral appliances, every single time. Toothbrushes, even softer-bristled, fail to clean every crevice and can be too abrasive for oral appliance materials. Brushing creates micro-abrasions in the appliance plastic, resulting in a cloudy look and creating an environment for harmful bacteria. Whilst tablets alone will kill some bacteria, they won’t penetrate any deeper than surface level. The Dental pod's ultrasonics take this further, and target bacteria and plaque build-up found in micro-abrasions or ridges on oral appliances.
